I have a old pioneer receiver in the garage for tunes and twins games. The standard wire antenna is not working real well, some days better than others. Does anybody have any suggestions on what type of antenna I should try to get better reception???

if your garage has a metal roof and or siding, you will have this problem, and an external antenna is the way to go.
if you have to go external,in the past I have used an old t.v. antenna on the roof, they are fm and work very well.
if you dont want an antenna on the roof, radio shack or something similar will have something that will work for you.

Do you have cable TV service to your home? If so, a splitter and a line to the antenna input (most likely need an F-connector adapter)
