I’m flying out of MSP airport Friday coming from Wisconsin on I-94. Is there a lot of road construction or any detours I have to be concerned with? Would like to get to terminal #2 about 1:30 pm. Plane leaves at 3:45. Thanks for any help.

Shouldn’t have any issues with your time schedule. There is a bit of residual construction, follow what your GPS advises.

last friday i drove from hwy 29 to 694 and the only construction i ran into was just east of Hudson but it was a simple shoulder closure, all lanes were open.

from 694 into the city i cant help!!!!!

I94 construction west of the St. Croix in Woodbury seems done for the season and there appear to be no issues in this stretch after months of construction issues/lane closures.

494 from the 94 junction to the airport has no issues other than normal rush hour traffic, which will not impact you.

Here is a handy site to check in on security checkpoint times at T1 and T2. Check it the morning of your departure just in case there are issues, but Mrs. Grouse flies a lot and security checkpoint times at MSP have been very minimal lately.

Overall, MSP is an awesome airport, if you fly a lot, you quickly see how good we have it here.

Last time I was over there about a month ago there was construction at the MN River bridge. Something to be wary of not sure how long they planned to work.

    Like Grouse suggests –
I’d advise anyone flying to download the APP for the airport you are visiting.
Very handi and the wait times I find are pretty accurate.
