Just took the Otter XT Pro X-Over Resort out for it’s maiden voyage.
Simple and easy set up and take down.
FYI – it was -30 and dark out. Less than five minutes for set up and take down.

Assembly of the unit was quite easy, about 2 hours following the directions.
The Hyfax was a different deal, if the engineer that designed the install was at my place I would have kicked him -well you know. Took a few hours to install them and Otter really could have upgraded the $.01 fasteners to at least the $.02 fasteners. Come on Otter, your better than that.

I love the rig, comfortable, warm, easy to set up and take down.
I’ll give it 4 out of 4 walleye cheeks. waytogo

I have a Otter Cottage (Blue Camo 900 denier) and love it but just got back from South Dakota and fished out of a X over Pro with the side doors and well I think I’m going to sell my Cottage and get a Cottage X-Over Pro man those side doors are the ticket !!!

Otter Lodge gets my vote. Fits two people nicely and can still fit in a 6.5’ truck box. The Resort is just too massive for my usage, but they’re sure nice and roomy.

I wonder if Otter made assembly easier because it took more more than two hours to put my normal Otter Lodge together a few years ago. Didn’t help that I did it in an unheated garage in December though either.
