I’ve gone out on the minnesota river 9 times this year using cut sucker live chub live sucker and live shiners and no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some advice? Fishing on shore.

Hire Darren for a night. Take in all the knowledge you can while your out with him. The money and time wasted in 9 trips would more then make up for his services

If he isn’t getting hits on what he’s using I’m thinking his spots are not the spot to be. But yes we love using bull heads even better using sunfish on the Croix.
To clarify, the Darren Bearcat is referring to is Darren Troseth, AKA “DTRO” or “3rivers” on here. 3rivers guide service I believe it’s called.
