Fishy depth finder.

Saw someone selling an open water depth finder without the transducer OR the mounting bracket. How does that happen? Could see upgrading the screen and keeping the ducer but if you ordered a new base unit they would send you the bracket. I always take my base unit off because it would be so quick to steal-but a thief would not spend the time to swipe the little plastic bracket. Then they would want to sell it. So set me straight please, would like to think the best.

I sold my 997si without anything but the head unit. I kept the spare gimbal so I could use it with a genz box for gps during the winter.

Could have also been an in dash installed unit and they threw, sold or gave the bracket away when they did not need it with their install needs.
