This went over so well at the Petenwell outing I thought I would share it.
    1 Gallon Apple juice
1 Gallon Apple cider, I used pasteurized cider
    2 cups brown sugar
    1 cup regular sugar
    1 fifth of everclear
    1 fifth Hot Damn schnapps
Put juice, cider, and all sugars in a large pot and bring to a boil until the sugars dissolve.
Set aside until completely cool, then add full bottle of everclear, and 1/2 fifth of Hot Damnn.
    Enjoy responsibly!!!

drank a few too many of those before a small bass tourney, ended up goin out in the morning and hangin over the side of the boat for the first hour, went back and slept for a few hours. Did better than I thought we would for missing th first half of the day.

    Great Stuff Ed!

I think adding “Enjoy in Moderation” would be a good caution too. It’s a very smooth drink that will sneak up on you and kick a person in the seat of the pants….from what I hear.

Cinnamon sticks can be used, I substituted the Hot Damn instead.

That sounds like good stuff. I have a similar recipe and bottled it a few years ago in beer bottles for storage and transporting. Word of caution Do Not Slam Like You Would A Beer. I found out you could take a nap sitting on a bucket out on the ice. Even Bret became very quiet for a while.

I have been making this for a few years and it is a great sipper.

A friend of mine brought me home some shine from West Virginia and that one you sip for sure.

    It has a BIG kick.

I made this, and still have a half gallon left. It is good, just need to trim the recipie a bit. The addition of hot damm was exactly what was needed.
