SOUP! Chicken noodle soup that is. You can find it with the other soups at the grocery store. Give it a try!

I dont follow the instructions, I take some raw chicken breast and dump it in w/ the packet and water. Bring to boill then simmer for an hour. Shred the chicken with 2 forks and return to the soup.

I like it so much that I also bought the tortilla and the wild rice flavors.

    Great for a long winter.

I have tried several flavors of this. They have all been good. The chicken Noodle soup was great on the tummy after a night of worshiping the porcelain god last Friday night !!!!

My “shore lunch” was in a cafe this weekend, featuring kawahagi, rice, crab soup, daikon pickles and a little seaweed… Fresh is better than out of the can!

The reason for trying Kawahagi on this trip was that last April, a friend and I were out fishing Tokyo bay on a local’s 40′ fishing boat constructed with benches running down both sides… The target specie was the one being consumed and featured on the wall of the restaurant in the above picture. Kawahagi are an ocean fish that one catches about 30′ down just off the bottom… Very challenging as they have a small mouth and suck the clams off a hook. Hard to catch something that works the hook like a sucker while having all the motion of waves, drifting boat altering bottom structure… while attempting to keep the bait steady at 6″-2′ off the bottom where the fish hang out.

Need to be looking for a rubber worm for next time as one has to hook a lot of clams onto the hook to catch this panfish sized ocean fish!

Did beef roast in a dutch oven with potatos and carrots for
Sunday night supper. Just took the leftover stock, carrots, beef and added corn, peas, green beans, onion, mushrooms, some beef bullion, a little more water and noodles to make home made beef soup.

Correction, the torilla soup that I had was from Bear Creek. I made it on Wednesday night and it VERY good as well. Dumped some chicken in while cooking and served in a bowl w/ tortilla chips, cheese and sour cream. Everyone loved it. Cilantro or green onion would be good with it too.

We have had the Bear Creek chicken soup before as well. It is also yummy.
