1 medium northern cubed to small pieces with no bones (2 fillets). Here is a URL to help on the fillet.

After cutting to small pieces, simmer in shallow water for 5 minutes. Drain. Cool.

    Combine and mix:

    Fish

    4 eggs

    1/2 cup Miracle Whip

    1 cup cooked wild rice

1 row of saltines (crushed to almost powder)

3 scallion onions (chopped fine from top to bottom)

    1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

    1 tsp of minced garlic

    Dash of pepper

Little thank-you prayer to the Almighty Fish Gods

Heat a quarter inch of Veg oil in a pan.

Make small patties about an inch thick (see picture) – about 4 minutes each side.

Pull and place on paper towels to drain.

Just as good the next day – microwave to reheat. It tends to be a little dry if you oven reheat.

This is a slightly modified recipe from Lucia Watson – Taste Tempters/In-Fisherman.

I made these last night. They were good; even my wife liked them (she liked mustard on hers).
