Okay…with Turkey day & traditional pumpkin pie in the rear view…..here’s a dessert recipe that’ll make ya toss the freshiest of cookies to the family pet(s).
Crust
2 Cups of crushed pretzels
3/4 Cup melted butter (NOT MARGIN)
1 Tbs of powdered sugar
Mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter & powdered sugar in a large bowl. Pat evenly in a 9×13 baking pan. Cook at 350 for 10 minutes. Set aside, allow to cool.
Layer 1
8 OZ cream cheese
1 Cup powdered sugar
1 Cup whip Ccream
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, & whip cream in a mixer. Mix until good & fluffy! Spoon & layer over pretzel crust.
Layer 2
2 Packages of strawberry jello
1 bag of frozen berry melody (strawberry, blueberry, red & black rasberry.
Make jello per box instuctions. Prior to putting in fridge to set up, add bag of berry melody. Allow to set up in fridge for 1 hour. Spoon evenly over crust & layer 1. Cover & place back in fridge for 4 to 6 hours for jello to finish setting up.
Top Layer
2 Cups of whip cream
Spread whip cream evenly.
Roll up your sleeves, tuck a napkin, & Enjoy.
NOTE: It helps in prep time to start layer 2 first.
WARNING: Keep kids away. They will eat entire dish.
