    8-12 crappie fillets
    garlic salt
    jar of cocktail sauce
    brick of cream cheese (room temp)
    diced green onions(opt.)

    In a sauce pan boil enough water to cover fillets
    garlic salt to taste
    boil fish 8-9 minutes
    let fillets cool then crumble

    In a mixing bowl add crm. cheese, cocktail sauce, crumbled crappies, & mix well
    serve with crackers

    enjoy!!!!

    I should say you can use any panfish in this recipe. I’ve used bluegill & perch. Crappie just seems to taste the best to me.

    We used to boil the crappie and sunnys and dip in drawn butter. This was “poos mans lobster” at out house.

    Your recipe sounds good, I’ll have to give that a try.
