last year was the first time I tried this, I loved the results, so I did it again this year. I bought two turkeys, actually three, and had one injected with just the store bought cajun butter, the other I injected with melted buter and Frank hot sauce. The hot sauce bird was for Friday to be cut up for turkey sandwiches. I took a picture of the bird after I took a few passes through the breast meat to show how the Franks marbled through made for some mighty fine sandwiches. Took a chunky blue cheese dip and mixed in a pack of hidden valley ranch and used this instead of mayo. Had lettuce, sliced tomatos, and bacon on the buffet and people could load up the way they like it. I fried 2 birds on Friday as I love left over turkey for sandwiches and I knew the first turkey wouldn’t last. I also made fresh Rhodes frozen texas rolls for the sandwiches. Jeez just typing this up is making my mouth water. Enjoy!
