    One of the best books I own. In-Fisherman Presents Cooking Freshwater Fish by Lucia Watson. Best crappie tacos I have had in a long time… and yes, I ironed that tablecloth myself.

    What’s in them?
    Looks like batter fried crappie, cheese and lettuce on a soft taco shell…anything else?

    flour
    ice water
    eggs
    and some cayenne pepper for the wet batter

    Soft shell tacos
    lettuce
    cheese
    and a light touch of thousand island salad dressing

    Fairly straight up recipe.

    I always enjoyed her recipes when one caught my eye, I will have to invest in that book. Thanks for sharing

    I got the book for Christmas and love it. Very simple and makes me look like a pro. Just need more fish to keep experimenting!

    just finished making lucia’s walleye salad for tonight’s supper.
    have saved several of her recipes from in-fisherman over the years.
    might have to put her cookbook on my xmas list.
