My mom gave me a pile of tomatoes from her garden yesterday. My bride is working today so I am all in on my first batch of sauce. I added two onions and two green peppers and two tablespoons of sea salt. I will be freezing the cooled sauce after I am done simmering in quart freezer bags to save time . I pureed the simmering tomatoes with a cool little gadget my wife had in the utility closet
