    Yep, make it ever other year. It is a day event for the whole family. Did about 100 pints last year. It is delicious

    pretty simple actually. after its cleaned and ground all I add is a bit of salt lemon juice and vinegar. while adding the liquid let set a bit so it has time to absorb. you don’t want to much juice. while mixing it use a spoon with slots. when you stir it pull a spoon up and when it has a small stream of juice that’s enough. using a meat grinder with the course blade is best in my opinion. ask away if ya got other questions! I put mine in baby food jars .let set a few days then put in freezer making sure all are up right. after froze put them in a brown paper bag an tape up. this keeps it white. some put sugar in theres. to me seems to take some of the flavor away!

    I see Helmans makes a horseradish mayo. Its not very strong but just enough bite to make it very good.

    Thats the way I do it too Glenn, it doesn’t take much salt or vinegar for it to work.

    Yes Mike. I’ve had it and used it as a fish dip instead of tarter sauce. Very good stuff.
