Found this recipe online and figured I’ll try it.
It turned out pretty darn delish.
    catfish(boil)
    saltines(unsalted)
    eggs
    mayo
    worcestershire sauce
    mustard
    onion
I boiled the fish with bone and the meat just falls right off. Crumble crackers and mix with all ingredients and add fish to it last. Set in fridge for an hour before frying.

Fish cakes are a great way to use up that “forgotten” bag of frozen gills from 6 months ago. I use the recipe for crab cakes printed on the side of a can of Old Bay seasoning- and just substitute cooked and drained fish for the crab. Extremely easy to make and super delicious.

    Try this one too:
dice filets into small cubes, dice red sweet pepper and onions into small pieces. Mix in 1 egg, a few drops of milk and enough Bisquick to potato salad consistency. fry patties in Crisco/butter mix ( or your fav oil)til golden brown each side.

Moxie….. those fish cakes are making my sandwich look inadequate for lunch.

    Pass the tartar sauce.
    Yum!

These disappeared way too fast, I need to catch more fish..LOL.
I’m sure this recipe or any cake recipe will be great with any type of fish.
