I was chatting with Blue about how he’s going about losing some extra pounds. He was saying one of the things he’s doing is getting rid of all the bread in his diet.

So, with that in mind, I had a new fav last night.

Spam and onion sandwiches without the bread.

Have to wait till they cool a bit to handle but Spamaliciouse!

And rice is no good either if low carbing. I been forced into the lifestyle by type 2 diabetes. The good things are weight loss and for most people better cholesterol numbers. You can up your fat intake too with things like coconut oil. Read up in book ‘wheat belly’. Sorry, Sturdiwheat.

Well, you’re on your way to living a better lifestyle. Every journey starts with a single step. Although, I’m not sure Spam is considered a “meat” by traditional standards. So we’ll call that a ‘baby step.’

Don’t forget to mix in some fresh veggies and a little bit of fruit!

BTW, Mtn. Dew isn’t part of the program. Swap it out with a glass of ice water.

Remember you said baby steps. BK should start out with a glass of river water.

Most “Diet” sodas are worse than the regular versions. I quit drinking soda about 4yrs ago. Never looked back and I don’t miss it one bit.
