    You’re so damn romantic Jeff.

Mike’s on the right track, I was thinking more of a red wine.

…since the FW doesn’t like beer or wine, I might as well enjoy what I want to drink.

The question I have is, and remember this is coming from an Austin native… why in the HECK do you feel the need to grease the pan to cook spam?

Best I could find James is by using real butter, it brings out the real heart attack flavor.

Going to surprise the hubby Sharon?

BK if you haven’t been to Austin and visited the Spam Museum yet you could take the FW over for a Spam Lovers Valentines present.

Actually last time I cooked SPAM, I cooked some bacon up before hand, and then just tossed the spam right in the same pan, I had people swear the didn’t like SPAM, totally astonished that they really enjoyed it, that and for the one time or so a year I eat SPAM, I try and get the low sodium version, that with the bacon fat, I think was key.

Random, factoid about me, I actually proposed to my wife wearing a SPAM shirt, to this day no other shirt I’ve ever owned solicited more comments that that shirt, EPIC, IMHO. Another factoid, just so happened to see the Spam mobile driving around Burnsville the day I got the ring and planned the engagement, my mother desperately tried to get me to flag them down and get their help in the proposal, I used some of my better judgement and decided against it.
