I’m not sure it’s fair to post a photo without a recipe!

Yesterday was my wife’s birthday. Instead of going out for an expensive meal we didn’t like

We dined in. Barb made a variation of Shrimp Santorini

We did all our shopping here in Richland Center. We could not find a special ingredient so Barb

punted on the Black Olive Tapenade .

    Ingredients :

    1.25 pounds of large shrimp
    1 small can crushed tomatoes
    1 shot Ouzo
    1 shot white wine
    8 ounces Feta Cheese
    3 splashes Virgin Olive Oil
    3 cloves garlic minced
    1 large yellow onion diced

Special ingredients is Barb’s Tapenade she made from scratch. Make prior and let sit in refrigerator

    1/2 cup chopped black olive
    1/4 cup virgin olive oil
    2 teaspoons of capers
2 tablespoons chopped red roasted pepper.

The meal was accompanied by steamed Mussels and Garlic Bread .

All washed down with a nice Warsteiner Beer.
