This sandwich makes a great summertime lunch.
It’s light, it’s cold and it’s fresh.
The Garlic Basil Bread packs more flavor than a traditional whole wheat bread and the flecks of basil add some color for a pleasing presentation.
Veggie Spread
* 8 oz. cream cheese
* 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
* 2 Tbsp sour cream
* 2 Tbsp crumbled blue cheese
* 1/8 tsp dry mustard
* 2 tsp lemon juice
* 2 Tbsp milk
* 1 1/2 tsp vinegar
* 1/8 tsp minced garlic
* pinch of white pepper
Read through recipe for additional ingredients needed.
Slice a baked loaf of either Sturdiwheats GARLIC BASIL, Whole Wheat or LIMPA RYE BREAD. Spread Veggie Spread on both slices of sandwich. Top with cucumber and tomato slices, red onion, slice of swiss cheese (optional) and alfalfa sprouts.
Spread makes enough for 4-6 sandwiches.
