I have a dehydrator and my wife has made jerky several times with it but lost our recipe. I know it had liquid smoke and am pretty sure it had soy sauce in the recipe, other than that I am lost. I myself like a lot of heat, you would think since I like it spicy I would remember that it had such and such pepper. Now that I mention it, it seems like we would sprinkle the meat with either cyan (spelling) or red pepper after marinating it. Anyway like always any help will be appreciated.

I really like the High Mountain brand seasonings. Looke em up online or I have seen them all over MN and seing how its made in WY I would assume you can get it “somewhere over the rainbow”. -Mark

I buy the packaged jerky seasoning they sell at Fleet Farm and then add some extra cayenne pepper to kick it up a couple notches.
