Hit the Toilet Bowl on the Frying Pan River on 10/26…This was of course at the end of the storm that hit, took a few hours to get there but it was worth the terrible road conditions. We got there around 7:00AM and the trout were full surface jumping all over the place!
The bite was active Sam and I pulled in a bunch of Browns and Cutbows using HD Trout and J-Spec crankbaits/jerkbaits. Sam also got her PB Brown Trout at 20″ and around 3 1/2 pounds! My fingers were too numb to fly fish continuously with the cold and wind that morning.
The current flowing into the toilet bowl also wasn’t running so the water was stagnant.
Overall, GREAT Time fishing an active bite and we were the only ones there the entire morning!! Hope you enjoy the drone shots and the fish!!🎣
