Fishing Reed Lake Manitoba

Anyone have info/advice on fishing Reed Lake MB? Have driven by it in the past but never stopped. Probable June time frame. I recall a campground there.

Great pike lake. Our last trip was 2015. I’ve only fished it early June, just after ice out. That might be later this year. We mostly fished pike but always spent some time up the grass river for walleyes too. One trip we caught pike, walleye, lakers and whitefish off the same reef. Plenty of islands and bays to cast for pike. Plenty of rocks to scare the bejeebers out of you.

The campground isn’t bad; there’s a water-tank shower (can be cold!) and well water. Double wide boat ramp right at the campground and fish cleaning house. Keep your food secure; there are plenty of bears in the area.
