pool 19- 24 fishing for freedom help.

    I am taking a soldier fishing in the fishing for freedom tournament out of Quincy IL and was looking for some pointers. It is a 3 hour drive for me and am unfamiliar with that area and truly want the soldier i take out to have a good time. You can fish pool 19- 24 so it is a large area to research and just wanted a little help picking a pool for catfish(blues or channel). would love to catch a blue only caught on hand fishing(ouch).

    ive nvr fished that area before, wish i could help more.
    but i think any part of that stretch will have blues in it.
    maybe try to get ahold of some local bait shops or the internet. lots of good vidz out there
    i do believe they like to drift fish, with big ole pieces of shad and cover water dwn there til they narrow dwn and area.
