    Has anyone tried them?

I can tell you the saltwater products are not a gimmick and work better than live/cut bait at times because they are durable and easy to use. They are mesh strips covered with “bait” that releases scent as it melts slowly. Out of the pack they are like a stick of bubble gum in texture and once they soak they are kind of like clay exposed to water. They dissolve very slowly and with the mesh they stay secured to the hook, better than any “stinkbait” set up I have used and less messy. Not a lot of rebaiting. With the saltwater version it is nice because pufferfish will tear up anything you throw in front of them and all fish will eat the bait.

I thought some might find them really handy and thought I’d give those who haven’t heard of them a heads up. If anyone uses them, I’d like to hear.

No, I don’t have a new job at Fishbites )

I’m guessing no one has tried them. I had no idea what Fishbites were.

Oh well, maybe I have some walking catfish in the sewers I can try it on.

I think I’ll hit my bass friends up.
