I’m heading down to Minneapolis for Thanksgiving, and I was thinking of doing some ice fishing. I was down there last year, and there wasn’t enough ice to safely fish, but this year is obviously much colder! Do you guys think I could expect at least 3 inches of good ice on some of the smaller lakes?

Nokomis in Mpls had -0- ice on it, and Cedar in new Prague was locked up yesterday.
Go figure.
We are fishing north of the cities a half hour
Yep, city lakes are wide open and should stay that way. Not sure where you are at but grab a rod and shore fish the river.
