Fish Replica Advice

I’ve been sending my clients to a couple guys in MN for their replicas but the lead time is getting close to two years even though they say 10-12 months.

Can anyone recommend a great taxidermist? Cost is usually not an issue, but I need a superior quality mount with a reasonable return time. Recommendations?

What kind of mounts are you talking about?

I will always point a guy to Scott Miller in Prescott for skin or replica mounts. He is a true artist with a taxidermist job.
I stopped getting my fish mounted and started to carve them myself now. Cheaper, quicker and turn out well. But that is just me. Every fish I have seen come out of Scott’s shop look awesome!!

Here is a smallmouth he did for me last year. I did the base and he did the fish.

I’ve had pike and Muskie replica done by Joe Fittante. Excellent service and great product.

Mike at Fibertech in Brainard-Nisswa does great work but the best thing is he’s quick. I’ve had two replicas done there and both in less than 2 months.

I’ll second what Will said, excellent work and quick turnaround.
