    Hi All,

Looking at changing out my 30k BTU Propane non vented wall heater with a direct vent system with a thermostat.
My well insulated Ice house is 10 x16 with a 11 foot loft.
I was looking at an Empire 25 K BTU unit however at 37 inches long it would take up too much space.
I have looked at Williams 22 BTU heater. It would fit the space better.
Currently my 30 K BTU unit keeps the house too warm.
My fish house is used more as a base camp and never is on the ice any more.

questions are : Are Williams Heaters good?
Will 22K BTU be enough to heat the house?

    Any comments -let me know.

never on the ice ? do you have access to power ? If so, I would go electric baseboard and be done with it.

    Big G-
Its at a resort and the owner would frown on the power usage.

    thank you

I bought the Williams 30,000 BTU heater for my 10×18 with vaulted ceilings. Did get the blower add on, and also have a ceiling fan.

Just put it in this fall, and was really hot, but thats not sitting on the ice at -20 either. Havent gave it a hard testing yet, but I like the smaller size and the cheaper price tag being it will only be used a 3 or 4 trips a year. Got it at Menards so got 11% back. So it was significantly cheaper than Empire. Seems to be a quality product.
