Lowrance fishfinder model LMS-332C.Automatically stars when battery is turned on and screen flickers like a strobe light with alarm on.I have managed to turn the alarm off,however can’t stop the screen flicker.I have tried the power on/off button to no avail.
Any suggestions? Thks
Go to the lowrance web site and look up the procedure for both “soft” and “hard” resets. Try the “soft” rest first. If that doesn’t fix it you will have to do a “hard” reset. The web site will explain the difference and what it means to you.
Be sure to look up the procedure which applies to your specific model.

I’ve tried the soft and hard resets to no avail.Contacted lowrance and was advised the unit is US p[robably because of its age,will have to upgrade.

Bushranger, did they offer you a trade up program? I know they used to, but that unit is pretty old perhaps they no longer offer it. Would be worth asking about at any rate.
