First wheeler guesses?

What’s everybody think- when are resorts first gonna let machines out there? I’m guessing next Thursday or Friday… with some stipulations

Honestly I could see this weekend.

I’ll go with tomorrow for resort workers.

Soon, maybe this weekend for shuttles. There’s still lots of potholes with thin ice. Mild air moving in.

By next weekend almost for sure, unless of course there is a giant crack like most years.

What’s the scoop on the shuttles?

I know Beacon Harbor offered it as a service. There are usually some guys running around offering shuttles on there wheelers/ side by sides. It does require a tip or fee usually. I have only taken advantage of it once.

Beacon Harbor charges an access fee. Than their guys will give you a ride out and back. I usually give them $5 or so.

rumor has it walking starts today.

i have only heard of one outfit offering rides at this time. Remember they have been on the ice checking it every day since it first formed. with warmer air and winds i expect the ice will expand and start moving around a bit this next week.
