First two barges of the season

First barges of the year are slowly making their way through Pepin. They are almost to Lake City right now.

Here’s a great pic of the event. I miss watching the barges and the river in-general from when I lived in Winona. Im about 2 hrs from the area now but my goal is to get a comfortable boat and spend more time on the river, hopefully in the near future.

Both those barges showed up on pool 2 yesterday.

Hey Mike, is that your Jon boat? Did you put the sea deck in yourself? Looks like a nice ride!

I did not do the Sea deck. Here is a little better photo of it.
