First one of the year

    Finally had a good day to try fishing my pond and on the second cast I caught this one. Good way to start the year.

    biggill We live down here in gods country in southern Iowa. ice has been out since the 1st of March, I have been too busy to get a line wet, but that is about to change,

    all sorts of open water on the smaller ponds in southern MN too. I tried for an hour or so but had zero luck.
