First ice red lake walleye

    I heard the other day it is fantastic. Anyone relate to this. Presentation, depth? Finally have a vehicle i can travel to different lakes. So excited

    Yes it has been very good the last couple of years. Keep your eyes here and you will start to hear all about it come mid December.

    Yep, been there and done it. Walk/ride out to the first break from shore, make some holes and drop down a rattling lure with a minnow head and hang on. Depth can be 6-10 FOW. Seriously, it’s that easy.

    Usually this bite lasts thru the end of December. After that you can find fish on the next structure past the first shoreline break.
