So my boat is still shrink wrapped. When does everyone start getting the boat ready for open water?

First, that was an easy winter!

I’m lucky to have both a winter jon boat and a summer boat. Pulled the Ranger out for the first time yesterday. Game on!

Mine comes out second half of April usually. Depends on how nice April is and whether I have time. I like to take a shakedown run before all the openers.
Doesnt always work out that way but that is what I normally do.

@rickziesmer I have one question for you. Are you a Hylander? Class of 88?

But he has a horseshoe that he keeps well hidden.

I was on P4 with roughly 60 boats last Sunday. smirk

That’s parted, not partied, although partied sounds like a better story.

I was going to take it out of storage this past Monday, but the tow vehicle developed issues on Saturday night. Doh!

Been breaking ice already in the harbors on Superior already. 2 trips out with plenty of trout and salmon as a reward.
