Switching it up this year, rolling the dice on some north metro public. If Saturday skeeves me out, up to Alex to hunt my consistent public.

Got the deer cart and ankle braces ready!

Grandma & Grandpa didn’t get anyone to buy the 63 acres we hunt. So I’ll be up there in 157 about 5 miles north of Isle.

You went way to far my friend. No doe tag need, call if it doesn’t work out and I’ll set you up for a spot you can take 3.

Good luck gentlemen! I will likely not be hunting at all. I dont really care to go, but I know my middle son wants to go but work is getting in the way. He has to work 5 days a week now that he is at scheels. M W F S S. So that puts a dagger in a lot of things. I told him go in those off days and said where to go close to home. I think he might head out but Im too busy at work.

I will be trying to avoid the stray bullets from the crazed whack-and-stack/if it’s brown, it’s down meat hunters in Section 159 east of Sandstone. I hope nobody else from this forum hunts this area because it seems to see more than its fair share of crazies.

I’ll be mainly trying to get my youngest son in a position to shoot Tall Tines. Thomas does not do anything by halves, so once he saw cam pics of Tall Tines, that was THE one.

Once again I feel targeted! Grouse we should figure out how far away we are from each other when I’m up there and have a cold one. Let me know if you want to meet a couple of the other crazies. toast

Oh come on, tall tines. You guys couldn’t come up with a better name then the most average name hunters use ? Figured you were better then that grouse. Thought you make up a unique name.

264 for the entire 9 days. Might bow hunt Friday afternoon as well. And if my cameras by my bow stands get busy, I’ll grab the bow and hunt them.
