I have a Marlin 336 that I am interested in getting refinished. Most likely would want the receiver Color Case Hardened, Have the stock refinished, and possibly have the barrel re-blued. Does any here know of a good place to possibly have it done? This was the 1st firearm that I ever purchased and I have taken many Deer and a few Bear with it. Its in decent shape for its age ( Purchased in 1983 ) There are a few areas with some light rust and minor pitting and the stock finish has seen better days. Given the cost and scarcity of Ammo for it I’m not sure how much I will continue to use it in the future. I’d like to get it refinished and probably just hold onto it and hope to pass it onto a Grandchild someday down the road. I have no idea of the cost of getting something like this done but thought I start here by getting some advice by others who may have had something like this done. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
