Fire House Tip-ups

Anybody use these?
They look awesome for night fishing.

$100? I think I will get my old jack traps gold plated. I have also requested that they be buried with me. I have an Indian hill trap that is also excellent. The old beaver dams still hit the ice too. I’m glad I bought what I did when I did, the prices on the gear is getting ridiculous!

I looked at those the other day just to figure out why they wanted $100 for them. It’s a tip up. But they do look nice.

Just think of all the Hamms one could have for that price…

I sent them an email to see if they would cut me a deal on 3 units.
They said no because Cabelas carry them and pricing is an issue. They will be at the show and I’m hoping cash will get me a discount.

I have two of those….. If any of you bring it up in front of my wife how much they cost I will “BK” it (deny,deny,deny). The do work pretty good even during the daytime. I use them as my walleye tip ups. I’d like a couple more.

LOL – just do what I do when my wife asks me about a purchase.
“That old thing, hell I can’t remember, I got that 6 or 7 years ago.”

I’m going to use that line in the near future when I pick up a razor.

Oh she knows I have them epg, she even commented on how nice the light is at night. She just doesn’t know that they cost 4 mannicure/pedicures. Or so I’ve been told they cost………
