finicky Blue Gills

    These Gills would not go for any thing. Tied on a very small jig clear and shaped like a disco ball, very small maybe the size of a pin head. with a small piece of wax worm. Just enough to wiggle. The Gills took this with out hesitation. got may be 30 fish in one hour and a half. Kept a few for dinner . the wind was nuts out there today.

    Nice looking gills! Great reminder to drop different baits on fish when they won’t eat, and downsizing is often the key to getting finicky gills to commit!
