    Now there is a man applause that knows one of the very best anchors that will hold! The ones I use for better than 25 years in commercial work are rated for handicap grab bars!

    I haven’t seen Togglers but will try them. I’ve used wingits and they seem to hold well also.

    Togglers are indeed foolproof for most applications. Depending on the backdrop, fish mounts aren’t terribly heavy, your standard screw-in style plastic anchor would probably be more than enough.

    I know the original topic was how to find a stud but it’s funny how you get a bunch of people going on a subject and it takes a while for a more obvious solution to come up )

    I use a very similar toggler for mounting my saw on hollow cmu walls they work very well
