Finally tried the pond

Hey guys, things worked out and I was able to try Mille lacs today. Morning started off poor with the resort I went out of and the fishing. But the afternoon was great nonstop action. Weather was pretty poor but I made do. Where is everyone? There’s houses on the first break and that’s it. I Went to the flats and it was a desert. Ice varies a fair bit yet and there is slush. I will be back and I have no reason to pay a resort to park at since I always travel with my snowmobile so does anyone know if the big landing in garrison gets plowed out? Thinking maybe the DNR does it? Thanks!

Landing doesn’t parking lot does. Like you said with a sled you can go anywhere.

21-23fow in morning was non consistent so pushed out deeper on the edge of a flat in that 26-28fow range and that seemed to be the ticket. Gold was by far the best pink or orange was no go. Smallest pike suckers on the dead sticks were best.

Anyone been up 169 after the last few inches of snow? Was the garrison landing parking lot plowed?
