Finally got my shoulder surgery

I have been hoping that this right shoulder would heal but after 13 months I had my rotator cuff and torn bicep repaired! I tore it saving a co worker that was in a construction accident. I planned this for yesterday to hope I would be able to recover for my favorite p 4 spring fishing, the scratcher should be on the water sometime mid to late March pending on my ability to heal up. Dr said 3 month off work so I am hoping for the best! Happy new year to all and I will try to pass time laid up!

Been there, done that x4! With a long head bicep tendon issue, figure on a year plus before you’re back to near normal. Any chopping, swinging, hammering, throwing actions are likely to compromise the healing process. You didn’t say your age but if you’re over 45, TAKE YOUR TIME. Every successive injury is harder to come back from than the previous.
