After losing two rods to Broken tips just this season I invested money, and ice house space for a beefy rod locker/ gun case.

My rods were previous stored it a small hard plastic frabil case. I thought that was enough to keep my investments safe but I guess not. We’ll see with the rest of the season how well this setup does.

    Nice!
    Who makes that one?
Looks like it holds 4 combos?
What length rods does it hold?

Plano 42″ all weather. It has pluck foam that you can pluck out to custom fit your gear. Ran me $75 on amazon.

How did they break in the Frabil case? I don’t want to keep recommending their gun cases as a low cost alternative if they don’t work well for the intended purpose. Thanks.

This was a slim frabil rod case. I believe the two graphite rods rubbed against each other in the case Causing them to break the next time I set the hook on a fish.
