FFS Returns

I don’t know why I was thinking about it but what type of shapes has the best returns on forward facing sonar? I don’t know if a round jig head or one with flat sides would have a better or stronger return. Or is the the material as harder has a better return? I don’t know what the secrete sauce is for it.

I see some companies are coming out with FFS specific lures and was what makes it show up better.

I figured some people on here know a lot more about it.

I would think the denser / bigger the better. But I’ve never used one.

Tungsten has slightly better returns than lead.

I’m more focused on what the fish want than what shows up better on the sonar.

I was more curious than anything about how the sonar reacts to different materials and differently shaped surfaces.
