Wife is handling uncle estate and has some guns and ammo we are looking to possible sell through consignment at gun smith. Can find some new prices from years ago on both ammo and guns but not sure what should ask for with used prices and hot current prices.
Most guns have never been used. Here is list of guns and picture of ammo cases.

Huldra mark iv 5.45 x 39 1/8 twist made by Adam’s arms. Upper and lower. Never fired

Huldra mark iv 5.56 1/7 twist upper only. Never fired

Taurus 357 revolver stainless 2 inch barrel. Never fired

Rugger .380 auto with crimson trace and 2 clips. Never fired

Winchester defender 1200 wood stock. Never fired.

Mossberg 500a 12 gauge. Good condition

Ammo in pictures and best way to sell?

    Thanks
    Jeff

Take them to a gunshop, pay the fella $50 to give you a price he would ask for them.
You cant give an accurate price on a gun w/o having it in your hands…

Thanks I will do that. Was just looking to see there is a given percentage of new price they would generally be worth since non fired.

    Thanks

Truly new, non-fired, with box and all paperwork are generally estimated at 70-80% of the lowest actual retail pricing (not MSRP).

Best way to sell depends on your motivations.

The highest return will likely be to list the guns and ammo individually on auction sites. The downside is it could take a long time to sell what you have.

Dealers may be willing to buy the whole lot, but you’d be lucky to get 50% of new value. If you just want to cash out, this would be your fastest and easiest option.

My best advice is look up same or similar guns on GunBroker.com. If you are looking to sell with less Hassel consignment at a gun shop or gunsmith would be the way to go. Seeing that most of the guns are like new never fired, you will get more interest from buyers. Expect to pay 10% or more for a consignment fee. Now would be a good time to sell any handgun or AR due to the shortages at a lot of shops.

    Huldra mark iv 5.45 x 39 1/8 twist made by Adam’s arms

This you can get a 1000 for at least. I’d put it on mn arms list at 1200 obo. They sell like hot cakes.

Huldra mark iv 5.56 1/7 twist upper only. This i would ask 550 for or vest offer. They sell for 600 to 650 new. Also usually in demand.

The Taurus 357 im interested in if you want to pm me,

The 380 is worth a few hundred at most,
Don’t know anomything about the Winchester and the mossberg you might get 250 for

I am in Wabasha. The 357 is actually a rossi which I think Taurus makes.

If you still have that 5.45 ammo I would potentially buy as much as you have. Text me at 952-two4two-745two

    @danh02

I would be interested in the .380 if you go the private sale route. I have a carry permit if that helps the sale at all.
