Fenwick Rods Any good?

Has anyone here used a Fenwick rod? If so how was it?

I’ve got a nighthawk and and an elite ice rod from Fenwick and I like them. Reasonably priced and have been durable and have a good feel to them.

I use Fenwick Ice Rods and have been pleased with them as long as you aren’t using too light/heavy of a jig.

I’ve got a few ice rods and they work great. Also have a few Eagle Gts and walleye elite techs they are great rods for the money. I haven’t had one complaint while using them for the years I’ve had them. It’s more of a personal preference but I like the elite tech cork and how the reel seats on the rod.

Make sure u look down them to make sure the eyes are straight mine are all over other than that i dont mind it

Can’t give you any input on ice rods if that’s what your looking for.
However, the Aetos line for open water is awesome!
1/2 price of the high end competitors with similar or non existent comparison for sensitivity!

Sorry, just realized this was in the ice fishing forum so I have nothing to offer there.

With 22 (after a quick count) (and maybe more in the garage?) Fenwick open water and 6 or so ice rods I’d say, yes, I’ve used a couple. I’ve bought and tested most all other major brands and grades and keep going back to Fenwick, mainly Techna AV, but since those were discontinued Aetos has taken its place. They just feel better in my hand and while using.

Same here, have an EliteTech UL and a HMG ML, like them both and really dont have any complaints. For the money I think they are a great rod.
