Anyone have one? I’m looking at the ML/M for shore fishing walleye. I left a St. Croix Triumph 6’6″ MF I had in MX. The Triump was decent, but I think i would prefer a 3 piece.

Anyone know of any other travel rod options? I’m looking at keeping the rod under $200.

That 13fishing travel UL XF looks interesting… Thanks for the heads up on them as an option.

Frydog – The st. Croix Triump? The medium 6’6″ is an OK rod. The 4 piece design is overkill for most travel and i hated the case at first, but both features allows the rod to really pack to nothing.

My buddy had a gander travel 3 piece this year that was OK.

If you want a rod that is OK to fish with and travels exceptionally well, try a Quantum Telecast. They’re $25 on Amazon. Not great but definitely fishable. And they get down to 15″ so will fit in a backpack or carry-on. I have a 13 travel rod and a St. Croix Tidemaster travel rod. Both are obviously much better than the telecast, but the telecast is a surprisingly good travel option in my opinion.
