My niece just showed me a new rod she got this is it feels great in the hand would this be good for Ned rigging, wacky worm and small 1-8 – 1-4 ounce swim jigs. I think They are more of a walleye rod would this work for bass or something better for 100 bucks? I would like to buy one myself. Thanks

Fenwick HMG have come along way recently. Nice light handle Fuji guides. 100$ and lifetime warranty you could do worse. Don’t see why it wouldn’t work for a ned rig.

Great Ned rod. In my opinion they’re among the best rods available at the $100 price point. Lifetime warranty too.

I sold all my St.Croix/Loomis rods and went to Fenwick. It is technically a limited lifetime warranty but when I broke my tip somehow unintentionally, I sent it in and they sent a new one a few days later no questions asked. Beautiful rods IMO. I aint good enough of a fisherman to go custom so I went next best thing.

Love my Fenwick HMG. Great rod pairs with a Pflueger president xt. Love to fish jigs and jigging raps with it. 7’ Medium Weight. Fast Action.
