Anyone on here have any experience with these rods? I’m thinking of getting 4 of them, 2 for pan fish(gills and craps) and 2 for a little bigger fish (perch or similar). I’ve already got my walleye set ups. I’ll be pairing these rods with the new model Pflueger Presidents 6920.

I’m wanting the pan fish rods to be sensitive enough to detect light bites but not supper wippy. Could, and might use a spring bobber but would like to avoid that if possible.

Bad thing is I haven’t held one for a while now, no stores around me have them in stock. They are on sale online for 29.99. Not sure if I want to go with an UL, or just ML.

Anyone have experience with these? All the reviews I’ve read are really old, I’m guessing they’ve changed a few things over the last few years.

    Thanks.

If you want panfish setups I’d go w a ultra. Medium light might still be a tad heavy for smaller tungsten. Or get each ultra for small jigs and your pan fish and medium light for small raps and spoons for percg. I have a medium light that i dont use much anymore but u just can’t feel the small jigs works well for perch on spoons and such tho. Spring bobber may help that i just dont care for thrm. U aren’t out much for 30$. I would also recommend checking out the pflugar monarch reel vs the president. Long stem easier to fish with gloves on and a little cheaper

I run fenwick rods and have an ultra light for panfish, it is a great rod but may be too whippy if that is a concern, I watch the tip much like a spring bobber for up bights but can feel them as well if your paying attention (I am usually not). They do have a decent back bone on them though and have caught a couple 20+ inch walleye on them and was able to play them rather quickly which I found impressive for such a light weight rod. I believe they are great rods for the price for sure and am not disappointed in them. Hope this helps.
