Federal waterfowl stamp

I just looked on the DNR website and the cost is now $27.50. Did I not notice last year the price jump? I thought they were $15-$17. Whats with the big increase?

Little brother just sent me an article, Obama signed a bill to increase the stamp this year $10. The price has not changed for this stamp since 1991. It went from $15 to $25 plus issuing fee

They could raise it to 100 and its still a great deal. Should help with land prices going up.

Yes it is to offset the cost of land now days versus back in the 90’s when it was last raised. They can raise it more and I’d still pay it. 62 bucks it cost last night to be able to go this weekend, but I’m not complaining. Good luck out there.

I disagree only because I have seen how the government handles our money. If all $100 went to land purchase I would agree 100%

I read on the website it is 97% goes to land. That’s if you trust them

…At Only 10 bucks we got a deal. Should have been $20. Depending on what type shells you shoot at $25 that is less than one box of shells or just a few bucks more than the cheaper shells. Hope ya,alls have a good and SAFE hunt. …rrr
