put in the crock put with and fill with your fav type of broth. add onions garlic whatever you like. cook untill it falls apart. drain the broth and pull the goose apart. mix in as much of your fav bbq sauce as you like and slap it on a bun. i also make the same way except in stead of bbq sauce ill add cream of mushroom and serve over egg noodles.

    Hey Kris….that recipe sounds familiar.

6-8 hours in the crock depending on size and # of breasts.

Another good way is to cut it in strips, marinade it over night wrap it in thick cut bacon and grill it. You can add a half jalepeno filled with cream cheese too, put the goose and cream cheese sides together so all the cheese doesn’t melt out and wrap the whole thing in bacon. Either way cook until the bacon is done and pull them off…like eating candy!

The recipe Kris was talking is really good – most people who didn’t know would think it was beef, and the actual recipe is below if you’re interested. I personally put several breasts in (8 is all that will fit in my crock pot), and then freeze it in one pound packages to thaw for dinner whenever we want it.

    Ingredients
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 small yellow onion, sliced
    1 goose breast
    1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    2 cups chicken broth

Melt butter in a large saucepan and saute garlic and onion. Add goose breast and brown on both sides.
Place goose breast in slow cooker and add Worcestershire sauce. Add chicken broth to cover and cook on High setting for 6 to 8 hours, or until meat falls apart. Shred with a fork and mix with your favorite barbecue sauce.

Cut breast in to 2″x1/2″ strips or chunks well anything bite size works. one can pineapple, one can water chestnuts. a pound or two of bacon. Cut bacon into 1/3 Wrap around goose and pineapple/chestnut and goose. Toothpick to hold toss on grill until bacon is done, turning frequently.

Cold beer and AOLT of hunting BS make it that much better.
