Now I know why I gained 5lbs on this trip. OH MY, THIS MAY BE THE BEST MEAL EVER. I’ve got my “welder” back home already working on the disc. I promised to cook this for them in November when I’m back for our archery trip. I just ate supper and this still looks good!

Awesome , So much fun cooking on them and making a meal for others that would have NO IDEA that you are cooking on a plow disc

    Joel,

I’m not sure Jason wants this super top secret recipe out in the public’s hands….

Get a cooker made from an old disc, about 16″ in diameter. Put it on your fish/turkey cooker unit.

Add some olive oil, butter, lard. Whatever your poison. Add chopped onions, jalepenos, red peppers, green peppers etc.. Your choice. Saute these. Add the venison cubes. Brown, but don’t cook through. Pull the whole mixture to the side.

Add some more oil or butter if necessary. Add chicken to center of disc. Season with your favorite spices. Cook for a few minutes stirring a lot. Doesn’t take long for the bird.

Add a little more oil if necessary. Add shrimp. Again season. Stir alot as they don’t take long either. Once you feel the shrimp are “cooked”, bring all the other items from the edge back to the middle. Stirring it all together. Continue stir and cook for another 10 minutes. Stir often. On this occasaion, we added a package of McCormick’s Fajita mix. Added a little water and cooked another 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, warm large soft taco shells in microwave. Bring disc to table and act like animals. Top with your favorite cheese, sour cream, salsa etc…

I had two of these and was completely miserable that night, but wanted more they tasted SO good. So I at the leftovers right before bed if I recall. Please don’t let the secret out though, the ladies think we only ate hot dogs by the campfire after they left.

Way cool! Btw, those “venison cubes” look more like venison steaks. Which is good. I’m guessing they’d get dried out and overdone if they weren’t big enough?

This whole deal looks awesome, Jason wins IDO Iron Chef!

So do you have to weld in the hole in the center of the disc?

    That looks great
